eBrevia Named a Finalist in the ILTA Distinguished Peers Awards for Solution Provider of the Year

eBrevia, an industry-leading AI contract analytics platform, has been named a finalist in ILTA’s Distinguished Peers Awards Program in the category Solution Provider of the Year. Now in its ninth year, the awards recognize ILTA peers who have delivered great business value and transformational impact through their innovations and implementations or have been champions in specific areas of focus for their organizations.

The ILTA Peer Awards are given to business partners, legal organizations, and individuals in categories such as litigation support, knowledge management, thought leadership, and more. On hosting the Peer Awards in 2020, ILTA stated, they “give us a moment to pause and show our appreciation for the exceptional work being done across the community, from steadily rolling out a mission-critical project in midst of a crisis, to innovating new systems and processes to match the demands of the moment, to supporting the wider community with technology and expertise.” (source :ILTA website)

As one of three finalists in the highly competitive Solution Provider of the Year category, eBrevia was able to demonstrate the impact and value of its AI-powered contract analytics software in two main areas: 1) successful adoption within law firms and legal organizations, and 2) superior customer service that embodies a culture of innovation and adapts to client needs.

To showcase these qualities, eBrevia submitted a case study on how the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB) leveraged the platform to reduce the amount of time required to analyze and file class-action complaints. Prior to eBrevia, processing a single complaint required an average of 8 hours to review hundreds of pages and extract relevant information. Once eBrevia was customized and implemented for this highly specific use case, the workload was reduced by 50% and MUTB saved 5,000 hours annually solely processing class-action complaints.

While originally targeted for legal document review, this case study demonstrates the sophistication and agility of eBrevia’s AI as it easily adapted to both a new language (Japanese) and new use case.
