He oversees the company’s security architecture & engineering, application security, incident response & forensics, network services, technology governance & compliance, and supply chain security management.

Combs has been keeping DFIN secure for seven years. Prior to joining DFIN, Combs was a senior leader responsible for overall network security for U.S. Cellular, supporting over 20 million mobile subscribers. In addition, he held several senior leadership and consulting positions that required building and maturing technology security programs. A veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a cyber threat specialist, Combs has also managed cybersecurity operations and information risk activities for military and governmental organizations as a member of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, National Security Agency, and Air Intelligence Agency, participating in missions ranging from homeland defense to operations around the world.
